Department: Culinary
Reports To: Commissary Kitchen Manager
· Prepare and portion prepped food items following standardized recipes and SOPs.
· Accurately label, date, and store prepared items to ensure food safety and traceability.
· Package finished goods for delivery to cafe locations.
· Maintain cleanliness and organization of prep, storage, and packaging areas.
· Follow all sanitation, and safety protocols.
· Operate kitchen equipment safely (mixers, ovens, vacuum sealer, portion scales, etc.).
· Assist with receiving deliveries, rotating inventory, and tracking production quantities.
· Communicate any product, quality, or equipment concerns to the Commissary Kitchen Manager.
· Participate in daily start-up and closing checklists.
· Prior kitchen, production, or food-handling experience of 1-2 years preferred but not required.
· Ability to lift 40+ lbs and stand for long periods.
· Dependable, detail-oriented, and punctual.
· Willingness to follow structured processes and maintain a clean work environment.
